Brain Health & Alzheimer’s Disease

This section explores brain health, Alzheimer’s disease, cognitive decline, Parkinson’s disease, and mental health, with particular attention to research on metabolism and lifestyle.

This subject is particularly important to me because Alzheimer’s disease has affected several members of my family, including my grandmother, father, uncle, and a cousin on my mother’s side.

The articles examine lifestyle approaches to brain health and Alzheimer’s risk reduction, along with emerging research on ketogenic therapies and the role of metabolism and mitochondrial function in neurological and psychiatric conditions.

My goal is to introduce readers to doctors, researchers, studies, and ideas that I have found particularly interesting, while distinguishing between what is well established, what is promising, and what remains uncertain. These approaches are not all supported by the same strength of evidence.

This information is for educational purposes only. I am not medically trained, and nothing here is intended as medical advice. Decisions about preventing or treating neurological or mental health conditions should be discussed with qualified healthcare professionals.
